PASTOR DR. UMO ENO TO PAY 13TH MONTH SALARY, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO WELFARE OF WORKERS

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Dr. Umo Eno, has announced that civil servants in the state will receive a 13th-month salary in the coming month to bring extra cheer to the holiday season.

The announcement, made through his Chief Press Secretary Mr. Ekerete Udoh, also included confirmation that the new minimum wage of N80,000 for public servants will be implemented following a verification exercise to ensure transparent service delivery.

Pastor Eno also appealed to labor unions to maintain the existing cooperative relationship with the state government, reassuring workers that his administration is committed to addressing their welfare needs.
