Oyo Declares Friday Half Working Day for Workers Following Polls

Oyo State Governor, Mr. Seyi Makinde, has declared today, Friday 26th April as a half-working day for all Public and Civil Servants in the State.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Mr. Suleiman Olanrewaju, in Ibadan, the decisions in connection with the Local Government Election slated for Saturday 27th April 2024.

The statement said government offices are to close by noon while personnel covering essential services are expected to remain at their duty posts.

It enjoined all public and civil servants to go out and exercise their civic rights on Saturday.
