The Nigeria National League (NNL), Nigeria’s second-tier men’s football competition, is set to resume this weekend, promising an action-packed second half of the 2024/2025 season. With teams battling for promotion, survival, and a spot in the prestigious Super 8, the league is poised for intense competition and dramatic storylines.

The mid-season transfer window has seen several clubs strengthen their squads, while others have made significant coaching changes to boost their chances. Among the notable managerial shifts, Solution FC parted ways with Emmanuel Deutch, Gombe United let go of Bala Nikyu, Barau FC moved on from Salisu Yussuf, and Gabriel Ezema left Inter Lagos. Additionally, ABS appointed Encho Anthony as their new coach, while Danlami Kwasau Umar took over at Kada Warriors.

The NNL resumes on Friday, March 21, 2025, with a standout fixture between First Bank and Godswill Akpabio United FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
