Nigeria’s Super Eagles Lost To Mali, Finidi George Explains

Super Eagles Interim Coach, Finidi George has blamed the team’s loss to the Eagles of Mali on the unavailability of some of his strikers in the warm-up game on Tuesday night.

Super Eagles under the tutelage of Finidi George on Friday beat Ghana in their first International Friendly match after the African Nations Cup but could not repeat same performance as they lost 2 goals to Mali on Tuesday night in Marrakech, Morocco.

According to George, the team lost due to the unavailability of strikers due to their injury.

African best player, Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface were not part of the friendly matches due to injury.
