Date:

Nigerian Striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has provided Nottingham Forest with a significant boost ahead of their upcoming premier league match against Sheffield United on Saturday.

He has been sidelined due to injury and missed the tricky Trees’ last seven premier league games.

However, according to Forest Manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, the Nigerian International Footballer returned to full training this week and is in contention to feature against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Throughout the season, the footballer has struggled with injuries but has managed to start 13 games across all competitions for the Reds.

His absence has been felt by Forest, who are currently fighting to avoid relegation.

Despite the setbacks, the striker has contributed significantly, scoring six goals and providing three assists across all competitions this season.
