NIGERIA THUMP NIGER REPUBLIC 3-1, QUALIFY FOR 2025 AFRICA U-20 CUP OF NATIONS

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have advanced to the final of the 2024 WAFU B Under-20 Championship after a thrilling 3-1 comeback victory against Niger Republic on Sunday in Togo.

With this win, the team has also secured a spot in next year’s Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, praised the team’s fighting spirit and their remarkable performance throughout the tournament.

He expressed confidence in the Flying Eagles’ ability to successfully defend their title against Ghana in the final on Wednesday.
