The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board has confirmed that the current season will come to a close on June 23rd with Matchday 38 fixtures.
This was made known by the League’s Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Davidson Owumi, in a memo to participating clubs.
In other sporting news, Rivers Hoopers of Port Harcourt, representing Nigeria in the 2024 Basketball Africa League, have commenced training in Kigali, Rwanda, in preparation for the playoffs this week.
Rivers Hoopers are set to face the Senegalese side AS Douanes on Saturday, May 25th, aiming to secure a spot in the Quarterfinals of the tournament.
The Playoffs and finals are scheduled to run from May 24th to June 1st at the BK Arena in Kigali, Rwanda.
