NIGERIA POLICE ARREST OVER 1,000 SUSPECTS NATIONWIDE

In a nationwide crackdown, the Nigeria Police Force has arrested over 1,000 suspects in the last three weeks for various criminal offenses. Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, disclosed this information during a press briefing while parading suspects detained by the Intelligence Response Team.

Sixteen suspects were presented, facing charges including armed robbery, kidnapping, and illegal firearms possession. Recovered weapons included 12 assorted arms and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition.


ACP Adejobi emphasized the Force’s dedication to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property. He also commented on an alleged assault case involving Hon. Alexander Ikwechegh, underscoring the police’s commitment to citizen protection at all levels.
