Niger Delta Stakeholders Opt Out of Nationwide Protest, Back President Tinubu

Date:

The people of the Niger Delta Region have decided not to participate in the upcoming nationwide protest scheduled for this Thursday. According to them, the protest’s agenda does not address pressing issues affecting the region, such as the East-West Road, environmental pollution, and divestment of oil companies.

This decision was made during a sensitization conference organized by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The conference, themed “Come Let Us Build Together,” brought together ethnic nationalities, youth, and women from the region.
