Dutch Coach, Erik ten Hag, has extended his contract as Manchester United Men’s First-Team Manager until June 2026.
Ten Hag, who originally signed his contract upon his appointment in 2022, was set to see it expire in 2025.
Expressing his satisfaction, the 54-year-old stated in a released statement that he is pleased to have agreed with the English Premier League club to extend their collaboration.
Since joining from Dutch club, Ajax, Ten Hag has guided Manchester United to two trophies within two years at Old Trafford.
During Ten Hag’s first season, Manchester United clinched third place in the Premier League, breaking a six-year trophy drought with a Carabao Cup triumph over Newcastle.
However, the Dutchman faced tougher challenges in his second season, as Manchester United finished eighth in the Premier League and exited the Champions League in the group stages.
Despite this, a significant two-one victory against Manchester City in the FA Cup final in May proved crucial in securing Ten Hag’s continued tenure at the club.
