LIBYAN FOOTBALL COACH SACKED AMIDST AFCON QUALIFIER STRUGGLES

Date:

The Libya Football Federation has dismissed Serbian coach Milutin Sredojevic following the Mediterranean Knights’ lackluster performance in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Libya currently sits at the bottom of Group D with only one point from two matches.

The team was held to a one-one draw by Rwanda on the opening matchday and then suffered a one-two defeat to Benin Republic in their second game.

Libya is scheduled to face Nigeria’s Super Eagles in a crucial double-header during the Afcon qualifiers next month.
