Liberia to Host Nigeria’s Flamingos in FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Date:

Liberia’s Under-17 girls will host Nigeria’s Flamingos on Sunday, June 9th in the first leg of Teams’ FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup African Qualification series final fixture.

The match will be played at Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in the Liberian capital, Monrovia, with kick-off set for 5pm Nigeria time.

Coach Bankole Olowookere’s maidens made their way into the fourth and final qualifying round following a twelve- nil second-round victory over their counterparts from the Central African Republic, after which they dispatched Burkina Faso seven-one on aggregate.

The Flamingos will host the return leg at Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Friday, June 14th starting at 4pm.

However, the winner on aggregate will emerge as one of Africa’s three representatives at this year’s FIFA U-17 women’s World Cup finals in the Dominican Republic.
