Ladan Bosso Returns to Bayelsa United as Head Coach

Date:

Former Flying Eagles Coach, Ladan Bosso, has been unveiled as the new head coach of Bayelsa United Football Club.

Bosso has returned to lead Bayelsa United who narrowly avoided relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League in the previous season.

This marks his second tenure with the club, having previously managed the team in 2012.

The decision to appoint Bosso, a seasoned tactician in the NPFL with experience at clubs like Kano Pillars, Wikki Tourists, Abia Warriors, and El-Kanemi Warriors, comes in light of Bayelsa United’s challenges during the last NPFL season. The team finished 15th, narrowly escaping relegation.

In addition to Bosso, Whyte Ogbonda was also unveiled as the new head coach of Bayelsa Queens.

Coach Ogbonda who led Rivers Angels to the Federation Cup title last season, takes over following the recent passing of Domo Okara, the former manager.
