Nigerian music star Kizz Daniel was arrested on Sunday in Tanzania for failing to turn up at a paid concert in the country.
His absence left fans outraged, with many vandalising the facilities in the Old Nextdoor Arena concert venue. ABN understands that many had paid as high as $5,000 for a table at the concert.
In a viral video circulating various social media platforms, the popular singer was seen being escorted by policemen to the back of a truck outside a hotel in Tanzania.
Although Kizz Daniel is yet to issue an official statement or apology, reports gathered on social media suggest the singer decided not to show up because he did not like the clothes he was styled in.
This absence is however not Kizz Daniel’s first. Just last month he made fans wait five hours before arriving to perform in the DMV. His concert in Denver was also cancelled on July 28 due to his delay in arriving to perform.
