Justin Bieber Drops Surprise Album ‘Swag’ Featuring Gunna, Lil B, Cash Cobain

Date:

Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber has made a surprise return to the music scene with the release of his seventh studio album, Swag, just hours after teasing it on social media.

The 21-track project, clocking in at 54 minutes, marks Bieber’s first full-length release since 2021’s Justice and features collaborations with US rappers Gunna, Lil B, and Cash Cobain, among others.

The 31-year-old singer sparked a frenzy online on Thursday after posting a video of the album’s tracklist displayed on a giant screen in Times Square, New York. Posters also surfaced in Reykjavik, Iceland, where reports indicate Bieber finalized the album earlier this year.

Swag quickly set social media alight, with the hashtag #SWAGOUTNOW trending globally within hours of its release—signaling a triumphant comeback for the artist after a lengthy hiatus from the spotlight.

Fans had been anticipating new music for months following Bieber’s retreat from public life, which was prompted by health challenges. In 2022, he cancelled more than 80 scheduled concerts on his world tour after being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a neurological condition that caused partial facial paralysis.

Bieber’s return also follows a new chapter in his personal life—he and wife Hailey welcomed their first child, Jack Blues, in August 2024.

Rising to fame at age 15 with his breakout hit Baby, Bieber has since evolved from a teen pop star into a more genre-fluid artist, often blending pop, R&B, and hip-hop.

Swag is now available on all major streaming platforms.
