West African Examinations Council, Nigeria, has disclosed that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates will commence on Tuesday, April 30.
Head of Nigeria Office, Dr Amos Dangut, while speaking at the WAEC Lagos Office, said the examination would run for seven weeks and six days and end June 24, 2024.
He said the examination will be conducted in four WAEC member countries, including Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
He reaffirmed the Council’s preparedness to administer the examination, emphasizing partnerships with the Federal Ministry of Education, State Ministries of Education, the Nigeria Police, various security agencies, and other Stakeholders underscoring its commitment to delivering credible examinations for the general public.
