GOVERNOR OBOREVWORI CONFIRMS DELTA STATE’S PREPARATION FOR NATIONAL YOUTH GAMES.

Delta State Governor, Right Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, has assured that the state is fully prepared to host the 8th National Youth Games, which are set to begin in Asaba today.

Governor Oborevwori made this statement after inspecting the facilities at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, the primary venue for the games.

The inspection included a review of the swimming pool, shooting range, and other facilities at the Indoor Sports Hall.

The Governor was guided through the venue by the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Chief Solomon Ogba, and top officials from the State Sports Commission.

Governor Oborevwori reported that 5,776 athletes from 29 states have arrived and registered for the games ahead of the opening ceremony scheduled for Thursday.
