The music icon shared photos from the high-profile encounter on his official X account on Thursday, though he did not disclose details of their discussion.
Macron, who has consistently expressed admiration for Africa’s creative industries, previously visited the Afrika Shrine in Lagos in 2018, where he hailed the venue — founded by late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti — as a symbol of African culture, strength, and music.
