Davido Announces August 2025 White Wedding with Chioma in Miami

Date:

Nigerian Afrobeat star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially announced the date and location for his white wedding with his wife, Chioma Rowland. The highly anticipated ceremony is scheduled to take place in August 2025 in Miami, Florida, USA.

Davido made the announcement during an interview on The Breakfast Club, where he reflected on their journey as a couple and the significance of the upcoming celebration. According to him, the white wedding will serve as a continuation of their grand traditional ceremony, which was held in June 2024 at Eko Hotels, Lagos.

“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year,” Davido revealed during the interview. “The traditional wedding we did was like a carnival in Nigeria, almost like a national holiday. The whole world stood still.”

The award-winning singer also opened up about the challenges they’ve faced as a couple, including the tragic loss of their son in 2022 and the intense public scrutiny surrounding their relationship. He acknowledged his past mistakes and expressed joy that Chioma would finally receive the celebration she deserves.

“A lot of things have happened. Even apart from losing our child, I messed up a lot of times. So that full circle moment, everyone was like ‘finally, she can get what she deserves,’” he added.

Since their traditional marriage, Davido and Chioma have continued to share key moments with their fans, including recently celebrating the first birthday of their twins in Atlanta, Georgia. Their relationship has remained in the spotlight, but the couple appears stronger and more united as they prepare for the next chapter of their love story.
