Chelsea Manager Mauricio Pochettino has left the English Premier League Club by mutual consent after one season at Stamford Bridge.
Pochettino assumed the Managerial role at Chelsea on July 1st, 2023, after signing a two-year contract with the option of extending it for another 12 months.
In a statement by Chelsea, the club expressed gratitude to the 52-year-old Argentine. It extended warm wishes for his future coaching endeavors, affirming that he will always be welcomed back at Stamford Bridge.
Pochettino’s leadership saw a turnaround with Chelsea securing five consecutive victories towards the season’s end, culminating in a sixth-place finish in the Premier League.
Pochettino’s departure marks the sixth Managerial change at Chelsea in the past five years, following the dismissals of Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter, ultimately leading to Frank Lampard taking temporary charge at the conclusion of the 2022-23 season.
