Date:

With a few days to the first leg of the Quarter-Final of the CAF Confederation Cup against Young African of Tanzania, the Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State, Chris Green has confirmed that the inspection team of the African Football Governing Body are being expected for a re-inspection of the stadium.

The inspection was in Port-Harcourt to Adokie Amasiemaka stadium a few days ago as Rivers United are eager to return home after playing their group stage at the adopted Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Green, who made the confirmation while speaking to newsmen on Monday, said everything is in progress to ensure a good outing in Uyo just as they did in the group stage.
