The All Progressives Congress has released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the conduct of the 2022 Governorship Primary Election in Ekiti State.
The National Secretary of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Senator John James Akpanudoedehe made this known in Abuja.
Arising from this, the Party had to revise and schedule its activities, including the last day for submission of completed forms and accompanying documents at the APC National Secretariat on Saturday 15th January, 2022, while the screening of aspirants will be on Tuesday 18th January, 2022.
The Party also noted that Primary Election will be on Thursday 27th January 2022, while election appeal will be on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th January, 2022.
INEC has fixed June 18, 2022 for the Ekiti Governorship Election.
Consequently, while the Nomination Form costs 20 Million Naira, the expression of interest form costs 2.5million naira, making the sale of forms 22.5million naira.
However, female aspirants and physically challenged aspirants are to pay 50% of the prescribed fees.
