Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has reaffirmed her status as one of the world’s leading sprint hurdlers after winning the women’s 100 metres hurdles at the Paris Diamond League.
The world record holder produced a season’s best performance of 12.28 seconds to finish comfortably ahead of the field and secure another Diamond League title.
American Grace Stark finished second in 12.38 seconds, while her compatriot Alaysha Johnson came third in 12.39 seconds.
Amusan’s winning time matched her season’s best, having also clocked 12.28 seconds at both the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings earlier this year.
The victory further strengthens the Nigerian’s impressive form as she continues preparations for upcoming international competitions.
