AMORIM HAILS MANCHESTER UNITED’S RESILIENCE AFTER COMEBACK 2-1 WIN OVER CITY

Date:

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has praised his team’s resilience following a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ivorian winger Amad Diallo won the penalty that Bruno Fernandes converted before netting the winner in added time, completing a remarkable turnaround after United had fallen behind in the first half.

Amorim described the result as incredible, adding that his team deserved the victory and managed the game well to secure an important win for both the team and the fans.

He also noted that his players stayed focused throughout the 90 minutes and worked to correct the mistakes made in their recent 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.
