Akwa Ibom State Government To Commence Construction Of Itam Industrial Park In August 2024

Akwa Ibom State Government has disclosed plans to commence the immediate construction of the Itam Industrial Park in August 2024.

The State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno who made this known during an inspection of the proposed Itam Industrial Park, said the construction would guarantee a conducive environment for businesses to thrive in the state.

To commence the project, Pastor Eno unveiled a committee, led by the Secretary to the State Government, Prince Enobong Uwah to oversee the immediate execution of the plan to transform the market into a hub of industrial and commercial activity.

The Governor reiterated that the plan to construct the industrial park is aimed at actualizing the vision of his predecessors that aligns with his Administration’s ARISE Agenda, which aims to develop the State’s economy.

He however stressed his commitment to ensuring that all projects aimed at advancing the State’s growth and progress are successfully implemented.
