Akwa Ibom State Government Officially Opens Ibom Christmas Village.

Akwa Ibom State Government has officially declared the State Christmas Village in Uyo, the State Capital open.

The Village was declared opened by the State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, who was represented by his Deputy, Moses Ekpo on Thursday evening.

Our Correspondent, Enyene Vincent who covered the event, reports that the State took the opportunity of the ceremony to celebrate the posthumous birthday of Mary Slessor.
