Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering over 40 ongoing projects across various sectors without borrowing.
Speaking at the second Monthly Delivery Meeting at Government House, Uyo, the governor urged Commissioners and Delivery Advisors to ensure timely completion according to specifications. He emphasized prudent resource management, including reducing government size and eliminating waste, to fund the projects.
The governor assured stakeholders that Akwa Ibom is on the right trajectory and expressed confidence that, with continued support, his administration will achieve lasting development.
Presentations at the meeting covered key projects such as the Industrial Park, Ibom City Bus, Ikot Ekpene Market, Ibom Hotel, and the ARISE Shopping City. Stakeholders, including Senator Ekong Sampson and Ambassador Asam Asam SAN, praised the initiative, pledging continued support.
Top government officials, including the Deputy Governor, Speaker of the State Assembly, and State PDP Chairman, were also in attendance.
