One person has been confirmed dead and three others rescued following the collapse of a building in the Fadeyi area of Lagos State.
The incident occurred on Akinola Street, off Ikorodu Road, on Friday morning.
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, says the cause of the collapse has yet to be determined.
Emergency responders are carrying out search-and-rescue operations to determine the number of people, including workers, who may still be trapped beneath the rubble.
LASEMA says the rescued victims are receiving medical attention, while efforts are continuing to locate anyone still trapped.
The agency says the operation is being carried out in collaboration with other emergency and security agencies, including the Lagos State Fire Service and the Nigeria Police Force.
Authorities say the scene remains under emergency management as rescue operations continue.
