NSA HANDS OVER RESCUED VICTIMS TO KADUNA STATE GOVERNOR

Date:

National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam. Nuhu Ribadu, has officially handed over four kidnapped victims, including teenagers and a six-month-old baby, to Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani. The victims, abducted from their homes on November 26, were presented to the governor at the NSA’s office in Abuja.

While transferring custody of the victims, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu clarified that no ransom was paid for their release. He commended Governor Sani for his steadfast support to security agencies, which facilitated the successful rescue operation.

Governor Sani attributed the rescue to the peace agreement recently reached in Birnin Gwari, stating that all abductees in Kaduna State had been freed due to the willingness of terrorists to adhere to the accord.

He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaboration with security agencies to safeguard lives and property in the state.
