Date:

Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed that Bauchi will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) from the 27th to the 29th of September. The meeting is expected to gather key stakeholders to deliberate on the future of the league and set a roadmap for the upcoming season.

According to NNL Chairman, Mr. George Aluo, the primary focus of the AGM will be to finalize the dates for the new league season. Representatives from all 40 clubs, alongside board members, are expected to attend the event, ensuring that decisions made reflect the views of the entire league.

Additionally, the meeting will serve as an opportunity to review the previous season, identifying both its successes and challenges. Mr. Aluo emphasized the importance of maintaining the momentum built from the league’s smooth operations last year, which helped boost its credibility.

Discussions at the AGM will center around strategies for improvement and sustainability in key areas such as logistics, officiating, and player development. The league management is keen on addressing any lingering issues to enhance the overall experience for fans, players, and teams.

The NNL remains committed to elevating its standards and providing a competitive platform for clubs across the country. The AGM in Bauchi will play a critical role in shaping the direction of Nigeria’s second-tier football league for the coming year.
