JUNIOR DTIGRESS REACH 2024 FIBA AFROBASKET U-18 FINAL WITH VICTORY OVER UGANDA

Nigeria’s Junior DTigress has secured a spot in the final of the 2024 FIBA Afrobasket Under-18 Championship in South Africa.

In today’s semi-final, the Junior DTigress overcame Uganda with a score of 71-67, earning their place in the final match.

They will now compete against Mali, who triumphed over Cameroon with a commanding score of 103-45.

This marks Nigeria’s return to the final for the first time in 14 years, with their previous appearance dating back to 2010, when they were defeated by Egypt.

Nigeria and Mali will represent Africa at the 2025 FIBA Under-19 World Championship, which will be held in Switzerland.
