President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Tanimu Yakubu as Director-General of Budget Office of the Federation, following the expiration of the tenure of Mr. Ben Akabueze.
President Tinubu’s spokesman, Mr Ajuri Ngelale, said in a statement that, Mr Yabuku is an accomplished economist, stating he served as the Chief Economic Adviser to late President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua from 2007 to 2010.
According to the report, President Tinubu also thanked the outgoing Director-General for his services, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
