Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, has urged the Super Falcons to break the 16-year barrier that has kept Nigeria from participating in the Olympic Games Women’s Football event.
Having missed out on the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Olympic Games, Senator Enoh said the Super Falcons must be determined to reclaim its spot on the international stage. With a 1-0 lead from the first leg held in Abuja, the Super Falcons hope to defeat Banyana Banyana in the decisive match tomorrow April 9th, 2024 in Pretoria.

He also called all Nigerians to rally behind the Super Falcons, saying: “Let us unite as a nation to cheer on our heroes. With our support and their relentless spirit, there is no limit to what the Super Falcons can achieve. Together, let’s make history!”
