Nigerians React Ahead of Super Eagles AFCON Match with Guinea Bissau

Date:

William Troost-Ekong and Zaidu Sanusi are doubtful for Nigeria’s Final Group A fixture against Guinea-Bissau.

The encounter is slated for the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan today.

The duo missed the team’s final training session on Sunday night.

Troost-Ekong scored the only goal in the Super Eagles’ 1-0 victory against hosts, Cote D’Ivoire last Saturday.

That Paok Salonica Centre-back is expected to be replaced in the starting line-up by Calvin Bassey.

Bruno Onyemaechi could take the place of Sanusi at left-back.

The Super Eagles need a point from the game to confirm their place in the round of 16.

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have shared their thoughts ahead of the match scheduled for 6pm Nigerian time today.
