President Tinubu Calls For Fairness In Global Taxation, Stresses Commitment To Multilateral Approach

President Bola Tinubu has called for a review of global taxation to redress the imbalance in the international tax regime has become imperative.

President Tinubu made the advocacy at the Third South Summit of the Group of 77 and China in Kampala, Uganda.

The President, represented by the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu affirmed the country’s belief in and commitment towards multilateralism as a way of addressing global challenges.

Nigeria, alongside other member States of the African Group, championed a historic initiative at the United Nations calling for a framework convention on tax.
