National Emergency Management Agency Provides Relief Materials to 300 Vulnerables in Sokoto

About 300 vulnerable in Sokoto South Local Government area of the state have benefited from relief materials provided by the National Emergency Management Agency. 

The beneficiaries include victims of flood, fire incidents, vulnerable, and people living with disabilities. 

Distributing the items, Commissioner Sokoto state Ministry of Science and Technology Hajiya Kulu Haruna Abubakar said the gesture was meant to alleviate the sufferings of victims of natural disasters.

The Chairman Sokoto South local government, Alhaji Abdulrahaman Sayudi appreciated the sokoto state government for the gesture and urged the beneficiaries to use the items wisely.

The district head of Gagi Alhaji Sani Umar Jabbi said he is satisfied with the mode of the distribution conducted by the committee.

Items distributed include maize, salt, millet and guinecorn clothing, birthing soap and rubber mats among others.
