Plans are underway to repatriate Nigerian refugees currently living in Internally Displaced Person camps in parts of the Niger Republic to their home states in Nigeria, as part of efforts to key into the refugee’s resettlement programme of the federal government.

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, who stated this to State House Correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, explained that he had visited the President to brief him as well as request for the Federal Government’s input in the refugees’ resettlement efforts of his administration.
