Shehu Sani Reacts To Reports Of Nigerians Sleeping With Dogs For Money

Date:

Former Kaduna Lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has condemned the trending video of some ladies allegedly performing sex acts on a dog for a reported sum of N1.5m.

Speaking on the issue of bestiality, which has continued to stir reactions, Sani said it is immoral for human beings to sleep with a dog, noting that such act deserved serious punishment.

Posting on Twitter on Sunday evening, May 1, he wrote;

“It’s immoral for Human Being to sleep with a Dog or Human Beings copying the ways of the Dog while sleeping. They deserve serious punishment.”

It will be recalled that after the video of a lady who said she’s proud of her action in sleeping with dogs in exchange for money went viral on the internet, the police vowed to investigate her claims and deal with her and all those who may be found guilty.

Reacting to the development, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Muyiwa Adejobi, on Saturday cited the Criminal Code Act, 1990, which states that it’s an offence for anyone to have carnal knowledge of an animal.

Adejobi stated that the police will go after the lady in the viral video and make her face the full wrath of the law.

He asked Nigerians to give the police any useful information on how to apprehend the lady and others involved in the act in order to serve as a deterrent.

The police spokesman also disclosed that the Force will not accept the posting of bestial-natured videos online.

He said, “I really want us to take necessary action on these ladies that are involved in unnatural offences (including bestiality) and post same online.

“We want to urge you to give us any useful information on how to get these ladies. We need to fish them out, please. Thanks.”
