The Southern Conference of the 2023 African Basketball League dunked off on Saturday and it was a difficult start for the Nigeria Champions Kwara Falcons who lost their first game on Sunday,

In the opening game on Saturday, host AS Douanes of Senegal suffered a 70-76 to ABC Fighters of Ivory Coast.

The Rwandan Champions Rwanda Energy Group proved too much for Nigeria’s Kwara Falcons with a huge defeat of 64-48.

Kwara Falcons will have another opportunity to redeem their battered image when they confront Stade De Malien on Monday at the same arena.
