President Bola Tinubu has charged the All Progressives Congress (APC) to uphold accountability in all aspects, with a particular focus on financial discipline and fostering the active engagement of women and youth in the party’s day-to-day activities.
President Tinubu made the call during the National Caucus Meeting of the Party, which took place at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
The President noted that the future of the party belongs to Nigeria’s young people and women, considering their proven dedication and demonstrable prowess in election matters.
The President also detailed decisions he has taken to reform the country’s economy, reiterating that Nigeria cannot continue to sustain the treasury-depleting fuel subsidy and losses incurred by the past foreign exchange management regime.
The acting APC National Chairman, Senator Abubakar Kyari commended President Tinubu for the steps he has taken so far to reposition the economy for greater productivity and future prosperity.
