President Bola Tinubu has dismissed the Chief Executives of both the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) and the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).
This was made known by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity Ajuri Ngelale in a release.
According to the release, the dismissal of Babatunde Irukera as the FCCPC Chief and Alexander Ayoola Okoh of BPE is part of President Tinubu’s restructuring moves towards protecting the rights of Nigerian consumers.
The release further stated that the decision is in a bid to boost the nation’s economy through proper restructuring of critical agencies.
