President-Elect, Bola Tinubu Appoints 14-Man Presidential Transition Committee Ahead of May 29 Inauguration

The President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has submitted 14 names that would make up the composition of the Presidential Transition Committee ahead of the May 29 inauguration.

This was made known in a letter submitted to the Secretary to the Government of Federation, Boss Mustapha, with six weeks left until the handover day.

The Special Adviser to the President-elect, Dr Dele Alake, while confirming the submission, said the 14- member list consists of the Spokesman for Tinubu-Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga as Head of Media and Publicity.

According to Alake, the current Acting National Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abubakar Kyari, will coordinate and direct the committee’s finance and budget.
