President Muhammadu Buhari says that for Africa to attain the high level of Post-Covid-19 Recovery recorded in more developed economies, stakeholders in the continent must unite to produce vaccines locally.
The President, represented by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, made the observation at the opening of the 51st Conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, in Abuja.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Office of the Vice President Laolu Akande, reflected the President’s speech in a statement.
On the issue of climate change, the President said it is another area in which Global Development is impacting Africa, and needs a unified response.
