Katsina State police command says it has arrested Nine Hundred and Ninety-Nine suspects in various operations across the state, as well as recovered One Hundred and Nine Anti-Aircraft Ammunition in 2021.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Gambo Isa made this known to newsmen in Katsina, listing some of the arms to include forty-four AK-47 rifles, one LAR rifle, one G3 rifle, 20 locally made guns and 689 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition.
Isa further said 38 suspected bandits were neutralized in various gun battles in the course of the operation, while five police officers paid the supreme price.
