Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested a woman simply identified as Motunrayo for allegedly killing her husband in the Abule-Egba area of the State.
The deceased, Alaba Bakare aka Bama, who owned the popular Bama Hotel and Suites in Lagos, reportedly recently arrived from Dubai with his wife and three children.
The wife got information that her husband had impregnated another lady, reportedly drugged her husband on Monday night, and placed a hot iron on parts of his body until he died.
Confirming her arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Ade Ajisebutu said, “The body has been deposited at the Yaba Mainland Hospital’s morgue for autopsy.
“The deceased’s wife and three others have been arrested in connection with the suspected murder case.”
