The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu has revealed that his two mobile phones containing the MTN and Glo lines were stolen during the collection of his Certificate of Return at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
The Chief Whip of the Senate while reporting the theft on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, cautioned members of the public against reciprocating activities involving the phones.
“This is to notify the general public to beware of any illicit activity involving my cell phone and numbers.
“During the collection of the Certificate of Return at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, my cell phone with MTN and Glo lines, were stolen by a yet-to-be-identified person(s).
“My network providers have been duly informed. Please don’t hesitate to provide any useful information. OUK”, Kalu wrote.
He appealed to the public to provide useful information that may lead to the recovery of the two phones, adding that his network providers have been duly informed also.
