His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku akpolokpolo, Ewuare the Second and Head of Holy Aruosa Church have accepted the recommendation of the interim Elders Council of Holy Aruosa Church, that Igbinoghodua Edebiri should be appointed as the Ohen-Osa of Holy Aruosa Church.
A statement by the Secretary, Benin Traditional Council, Frank Irabor says the position of Ohen-Osa is an acting capacity for the chieftaincy title holder of Ohen-Osa N’Ohuanren, who is the presiding priest of Holy Aruosa Church.
The statement said the former acting Ohenosa, Harrison Okao held forth for many years in acting capacity for the Ohen-Osa N’Ohuanren, which has at present is still vacant.
It said with the appointment of Igbinoghodua Edebiri as the Ohen-Osa of Holy Aruosa Church, His Royal Majesty has directed that the Holy Aruosa Church, which has been under lock since the removal of Harrison Okao shojd be opened immediately for normal worship.
