Nasarawa to host President Buhari

Nasarawa State Government has commenced preparations to host President Muhammadu Buhari, who will visit the State on a two-day working visit in February.

Governor Abdullahi Sule disclosed this on Thursday during the maiden edition of the State Executive Council meeting at Government House, Lafia

According to him, information has reached the State Government indicating that President Buhari is billed to visit Nasarawa State from Thursday to Friday, February 17 and 18, 2022.

“With that announcement, there are certain things we have to put in place, to accord the President a deserved welcome,” he stated.

He commended members of the state executive council, particularly commissioners, who are doing their best to assist the administration to deliver dividends of democracy to the people.

The governor expressed his satisfaction with the performance of some of the commissioners who hit the ground running after their inauguration.
