The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio says he is joining the Presidential Race to unite and work for the progress of Nigeria.
Senator Akpabio, who is seeking to be President under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, stated this during his declaration event in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
While stressing that he strongly believes in the unity of Nigeria, he added that he is a leader who is not tribalistic or a religious bigot.
Recalling his achievements as Governor, Senator and Minister, Senator Akpabio said 2023 is the time for him to take his mantra of uncommon transformation to the Presidential level.
The Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State added that the country needs a leader who thinks ahead.
He promised to run an Administration that is women friendly, if he successfully picks the Presidential ticket of APC and eventually becomes president in 2023.
Northern Youth Forum presented to the Minister APC Presidential Nomination Form at the event.
