Leadership of Miyetti Allah to meet South West Governors on 25th January, 2021

Date:

The Miyetti Allah herdsmen group has called on the Federal Government to heed the call for the restructuring of the country to allow the Fulani to go their way.

The National Secretary of the group, Saleh Alhassan, said in an interview with newsmen that herdsmen were being marginalized in the country and that it was best if they were on their own where they would be protected.

Alhassan said that it was wrong to punish a group of people for the sins of the sins they know nothing about.

He acknowledged that some herders could have some criminal tendencies like every other regional group, the law-abiding Fulanis are more in number than those with criminal intentions.

Alhassan said though President Buhari is the grand patron of the group, the group still remains marginalized.
